EIBACH-THE WILL TO WIN - 07.20.2010

Corona, Calif. (July 20, 2010) — The Great Clips 100 was held Saturday, July 10 at the Bowman-Gray Stadium in downtown Winston-Salem, N.C.
Eibach Springs supporter Tim Brown qualified his No. 83 Hayes Jewelers modified on the pole position for the event, which equaled his sixth of the year; due to track rules, everyone is required to redraw for the feature event and Brown drew a seven.
Brown was able to move up two spots prior to the start of the race after two cars failed to start, then on the first lap moved from his fifth starting position to the fourth place. Just a bit over the halfway mark, Brown was able to take the lead from veteran modified wheelman Ted Christopher for the lead point where he stayed for the remainder of the race to collect his third victory of the season.

Formula DRIFT
The first-year team of Samuel Hübinette Racing, owned by veteran racer and former champion Samuel Hübinette, continues to build momentum and experience with every race they attend.
SHR was in Monroe, Wash., for the Formula DRIFT Throwdown. Hübinette advanced from the first round of competition, only to unfortunately be knocked out of the second round against Tanner Foust.
Both Hübinette and teammate Andrew Comrie-Picard are expected to compete in the X Games in Los Angeles at the end of this month.

WRC — Rally Bulgaria
The BP Ford Abu Dhabi Rally Team competed in the inaugural round of competition in Bulgaria in FIA World Rally Championship competition over the weekend near Sofia.
The teams took to the first sealed asphalt surface since the course of Borovets in October 2009. Both teams ended the first day of their races in the top-five positions and on Sunday, each fell one position to finish the race; the Mikko Hirvonen/Jarmo Lehtinen duo finished fifth for the weekend, with Jari-Matti Latvala/Miikka Anttila finishing sixth.
The BP Ford Abu Dhabi team currently sits second in the manufacturers' championship.

USMTS
The USMTS Casey's General Stores National Tour revisited the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Wisconsin to pick up where they left off before heavy rains cancelled the event for the evening on June 25.
Eibach Springs customer Tommy Myer also picked up where he left off and that was dominating the competition. Myer drew the pole for the event, but didn't have the cakewalk he probably would have liked to have. He led laps 1-10, before letting Josh Angst slip by him to lead lap 11; Myer regained the lead for lap 12, only to have Angst lead lap 13. However, on lap 14, Myer regained the top position where he stayed for the remainder of the race to score his third win of the season. Ron Konkel of Caledonia, Minn., collected the Eibach Springs Heat Race #4 win.
